Back To School

My brother and I went back to school yesterday, (bummer!) and my brother started his day off with math. I had to hand in my signed test to my teacher. I got an A! nothing that important happened on the first day back. The only cool thing was that my friend and my brother's teacher went to California to see the Penn State And USC College Rose Bowl. Penn State fans really don't like when they lose!

Wrestling

We all Just got back from a wrestling meet and what a meet it was! me and my little brother Wrestle and are on the Junior Varsity(J.V) team. my Brother and I didn't win, but it was close. the score was seven to eight, but everyone said we had the best match. I look forward to wrestling some more. I am in Fifth Grade, and my brother is in first, so we have a long way until High school football and wrestling. Like i said, i look forward to wrestling, and eventually winning! :)

Hoop House Gardening

Ok. So, Spring is really just around the corner (thank God). And, is there anyone out there that would like to share anything regarding starting seeds in an unheated hoop house greenhouse. I'm thinking about starting veggie plants and some annuals to sell at the end of my driveway for a few bucks. This past Fall, we built two raised beds and grew spinach, loose leaf lettuce and brocolli, cauliflower, brussels. But, we were infested with some kind of fly that laid eggs and also green caterpillars that just ate and ate til there was nothing left. I'd like to stay organic if possible. Any suggestions from anyone?

When will the sickness end?

Well, another year has drawn to an end and quite the year it has been! At least Steve still has a job. We were all sick over Christmas. This stomach bug must die!!!! The worst one we've all had in years. So, this is my first "blog" ever done - no clue what the heck I'm doing. Don't know what I'm supposed to do. I guess I'll wait to see if anyone will blog me back or whatever!
